All Cork Visions classes and workshops are held at:

Visions School of Art,

Top Floor,

Granary House,

Rutland Street,

Cork City.

Directions to the Visions School of Art:

Directions: from George’s Quay (where Filter Cafe is) walk (with your back to the Quay Co-op) to where the river takes a corner, across from the front door of Cork College of Commerce. Instead of following the river around the bend, however, continue straight ahead onto South Terrace and take the 2nd street on the right, which is Rutland Street. Continue up the street about half-way, and you will see a large refurbished granary building on your right (there are some signs for Artist-spaces to rent on the front of the building).

If you are coming from Douglas Street, walk up or down Douglas Street until you see the Spar on your right or left. Rutland Street is the street that is perpendicular to Douglas Street, and meets it directly across from the Spar. Turn down Rutland Street, and see Granart House on your left (refurbished granary buildiing with cut-stone facade).

You will see an electricity box on the footpath in front of the building, and just beyond it is a door – this is the entrance. There will be a code stuck on a sheet on the inside of the glass of the door: you can use the keypad to let yourself in and then come to the top of the stairs – Visions is facing the toilets on that floor. If you still can’t find us, despite your best efforts, call us at 087 1499615, and we will guide you in.
Parking: If you drive up Rutland Street away from the Lee, and towards the Spar on Douglas Street, take a left at the Spar. Ahead of you about 20 yards is a small, enclosed carpark (a low wall surrounding it) on the left side of the road. Parking should be available there for free after 6:30pm. The next closest public carpark is on Union Quay (very close – about 1 minutes walk away), and then at the Elysian Building, which is about 8 minutes walk away, max; that said, you may be able to find a place along the side of a street after 6:30pm, as traffic moves out of the city at that stage and parking becomes free.
